Refrigeration Design Technologies, or RDT, is an innovative company that offers industry-leading, energy-saving refrigeration systems. New to the High Sabatino line card, we're happy to introduce their products to Virginia, Maryland, and the greater Washington, D.C. areas.
With a wide-range of intuitive products, RDT systems reduce environmental impact by reducing refrigerant volumes by up to 50 percent. Even more important, they offer foodservice operators in the mid-Atlantic region the opportunity to improve energy efficiency by as much as 40 percent. Let's take a look at how they do this:
ECO-SMART
By entering a defrost mode only when needed, foodservice operators can save on energy and improve the integrity of their food products. In cases of less than ideal operation, owners will receive alarm notification texts and emails as part of a remote monitoring and control system. Eco-Smart allows for greater service and maintenance access by eliminating icing issues, and Eco-Smart is easily integrated with Building Energy Management Systems.
ECO-COOL
Eco-Cool also offers an ability to reduce energy consumption. With the Eco-Cool system, operations that would typically require eight compressors can now utilize only two digital scroll compressors, one for medium temperature and one for low temperature. The diagram indicates how the Eco-Cool system can operate a range of refrigeration fixtures on only two compressors:
For the foodservice operators piece of mind, RDT's Eco-Cool also includes a back-up compressor for 100 percent redundancy. It also contains a smaller footprint, lower refrigerant volume, lower installation costs, and reduced electrical consumption.
