As many of you know, the biggest food service equipment tradeshow, The NAFEM Show, is making its biennial appearance in Orlando this February. Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect to see at NAFEM17.
Bally
Bally, a manufacturer of top-of-the-line walk-in coolers and freezers, blast chillers, and refrigerators, will be featuring their updated SmartVap controllers. They will also be featuring their line of SmartSpeed refrigeration products.
Bally’s SmartVap controllers will simplify and lower the cost of walk-in installs, as well as help keep a more consistent temperature in the walk-in.
The SmartSpeed evaporators sense the amount of product in the walk-in and cools or removes air accordingly. This results in reduced energy costs and extended lifetimes of the refrigeration systems.
Irinox
Irinox is world’s leading manufacturer of blast chillers and shock freezers. At NAFEM17, Irinox will promote their new, top-of-the-line roll-ins, which will have all the Plus features.
The Plus features, which were previously only available on the reach-ins, consist of low temp cooking, proofing, pasteurizing, thawing, and chocolate cycles. Very few of Irinox’s competitors have roll-ins that can offer these features, and none can do it as well as the Irinox units.
Panasonic
Panasonic is traditionally known in the food service industry for its’ industrial, highest quality, microwaves, rice cookers, and steamers. In the upcoming tradeshow, Panasonic is introducing its new Met-ALL Commercial Induction Cooktop.
Panasonic is the only manufacturer to produce an induction cooktop that can be used with all types of metal pans.
Rational
Rational, the inventors and leading manufacturers of combi-ovens, will be showcasing their latest product, the SelfCookingCenter and its little sister, the SelfCookingCenter XS.
The SelfCookingCenter family of products is ingenious. The combi-oven knows exactly how long and at which temperature to cook something solely based on what temperature you want the food to be finished.
